Flood Mapping of Gardiners Creek – Part 1
For Melbourne Water by Water Technology P/L – Version v09, 16/4/2014
- Develop a new model for Gardiners Creek local catchments to form a model covering the entire Gardiners Creek catchment.
- Determine the 5 year, 10 year, 20 year, 50 year, 100 year average recurrence interval events and Probable Maximum Precipitation flows from the Gardiners Creek model for hydrograph inputs to the unsteady flow hydraulic model. Determine the flooding extents and impacted properties.
- Review the existing hydraulic model (Water Technology, 2004) and update the model as appropriate.
