Markham Forest

Markham Forest covers the forested areas near Gardiners (KooyongKoot) Creek, along the south of Markham Avenue Reserve in Ashburton. It includes the areas planted under a 2022 Queen’s Platinum Jubilee federal grant which are located at the eastern and western ends of the reserve. Our projects page for Markham Forest shows some of the history and future plans.

It is a Boroondara Council reserve : https://www.boroondara.vic.gov.au/explore-boroondara/parks-and-reserves
