The Friends Below the Lake group is based on KooyongKoot (Gardiners) Creek immediately downstream from Blackburn Lake in Blackburn.
The group has been busy in Naughton Reserve recently. Here are some recent photos of revegetation activities including two from a planting event on National Tree Day on 26th of July 2026. The other two were taken just prior to that event on 28th of June and included fence construction and site preparation.
The reserve is at the western end of Naughton Grove, near Blackburn Road.
