Our first KKA meeting for 2025 was held outdoors in the KooyongKoot (Gardiners) Creek Reserve on 26th February. The first activity was a tour of the proposed plantings for 2025 followed by a review of the incredible success of earlier plantings a little further upstream.
Kick-off meetings for our new sub-committees followed the normal business of the meeting.
In our photo, the Education sub-committee is in the foreground, the Advocacy and Communication/ Marketing combined under the tin roof, Projects/Revegetation is behind the brick wall and other groups are out of frame.
The KKA itself is growing and maturing as a group – it has recruited some amazing volunteers to sub-committees designed to add capacity and skills to the group.
Our thanks to all who have volunteered to contribute to one or more of the sub-committees.
