Pam Welsford was KKA secretary from the inaugural KKA meeting until this year’s AGM. She and her partner made the decision to relocate westwards to Fairhaven – perhaps swapping Painkalac Creek for KooyongKoot !
Pam’s can-do attitude, versatility and hard work were a significant factor in the success of the KKA to date.
Pam was also President of our member group the Friends of South Surrey Park for twenty years.
We sincerely thank Pam for her dedication and efforts as our Secretary – and wish her all the best for the next phase of her life at her new abode. Nevertheless, she is still “around” (electronically at least) and lending us a hand. Needless to say, she’s becoming active in her new locale having already joined the Friends of Eastern Otways and also Sea Search – a group that works with Parks Vic to survey the life on the beach – for example, at Point Addis.
Francesca Keaveney succeeded Pam as our Secretary at this year’s AGM.
