We have recently learned of the Willie Wagtails Habitat Recovery – Biodiversity Rescue and Propagation Group based next to Boyd Park in Murrumbeena in the southern part of the KooyongKoot catchment.
Native Plant Giveaway
Willie Wagtails have many hundreds of native plants to give away for home gardens. The plants help native insects, birds and animals survive in their habitat.

Background Info on the group
The Willie Wagtails Habitat Recovery (WW HR) is a propagation nursery based in Murrumbeena run by local volunteers. Their principal aim is to restore the lost biodiversity through targeted propagation of indigenous plants that can provide preferred habitat and food sources for bird species that once inhabited the area.
